ASK ME WHY? Series 2
My dear friends and likeminded persons
We have seen how minute was the time measuring methods in Ancient India and amazingly even the so called and sophisticated calculators of today took some time to divide and sub-divide. There were no machines in the good olden days in India, still the calculations were so accurate which means the ancient Indians developed their skills much beyond the imagination of the present generation.
Today we call Sunday, Monday etc and are observing seven days a week and as per an American book, they say that “men had not invented a week initially, in the primitive days, men followed only months and the book further narrated that the Babylonians, then the Jews and there afterwards the Egyptians adopted a seven day week and they named the days after seven planets and it was further mentioned that the seven days were finally got to screen by Anglo Saxons and not even by Romans, however the role of God was duly mentioned and some mention about the God’s name to the week days.
Then, the next question was who first came to know about the Gods and their existence? The American books mention that a religion which has many gods is a dead religion and it is called “polytheism” and the belief of one God is called as Monotheism. The same book talks about “monolatry” which means that many gods do exist, but only one is worshipped. The book further speaks that by 14th Century BC an attempt was made in Egypt to introduce the ides of Monotheism with the Sun as one Lord, however it failed. The book says that according to Old Testament true monotheism the belief that Christians, Jews, and Mohammedans holding one God started coming into force.
Logical questions: If the Egyptians or someone believe that there was only and only one God, and they believed in Monotheism, how did they accepted many a Gods in the names of week days? Are the week days not related to the names of Gods according to them and if so how and in what manner did they arrived at the names?. If they have accepted there were many Gods, then are they following Polytheism and accept that there is more than one God? For whatever reason it is, is the Old Testament the final authority on this to decide upon?
This entire means, that there is an influence to make us all accept the history and history can be changed as per the convenience of a few who hold themselves great. No other land, no other territory is great to them, nor is the greatness in others accepted. Their limited knowledge do not allow them to think beyond old testament, come what may with the truth and come what may to the history.
Now our question is still not answered. Who first invented planets and by what means the names of week days are named after the planets? Were they considered as Gods in those days and in such a case the ancestors of the people of the universe whatever land they belong to, have accepted and believed in “some thing” and what is that “something” and who were they initially? Let us also examine, another case of present Astronomers who are concluding that there was life on the “Planet” MARS. How did they come to know about MARS and when did they come to know? – again is a question for which we have no answer from any modern astronomer or a scientist. But what they say is that Mars is a twin of our own planet Earth. It is more or close to the Earth and Mars has a day that is almost equal in length to our day here on the earth. Mars has seasons like the earth and in 1887 an Italian Astronomer by name Giovanni Schiaparelli reported seeing markings on the surface of Mars that resembled canals and scientists also wondered whether these canals were built up by Martians in order to carry water from the polar regions to the desert canals and again all this theory is being disputed amongst the well noted modern scientists in foreign countries and by astronomers too.
Logic behind : According to ancient Indian Calendar System, Indians did mention about the great Mahabharata war and names of days were mentioned in that period ( say for example during 3119 B.C – the year of Mahabharata War) and by means of this, is this not a fact that Indians knew the week days even prior to Mahabharata War and in many Sanskrit texts of ancient times, day names were clearly mentioned without any dispute on the calendar system?. Is this not a fact that the Eclipse and the calendar system remained as a matter of “normal” just “Normal” way of calculation for any simple priest in any small temple or a village of India without being a base of so called “Modern Education”?.
Were they not far knowledgeable than any modern astronomers who has to take assistance of many to find out when an eclipse occur and is this not a fact that Indian system did mention about the nine planets and considered two among the nine as shadow planets and is this not a fact that the seven planets were considered as Main planets and the names of these seven planets were given to the week days?, and is this not a fact that Indian Astrology was ancient enough to out-beat the modern technology in the related field. Did the small slokaas in Sanskrit which are daily chanted by many millions in their house about the planet Mars as “Dharani Garbha Sambhootam…” which is clearly mentioning that the Mars Planet is the birth child of planet mother?. What kind of apparatus did Indians had in those primitive days to conclude all these and is this not a matter of appreciation for the intellectual excellencies of Indian Great Sages who gave up their life for a Common cause ? What exactly is the fact and what is our role to educate our children? Are we prepared to educate children by giving them a history of our choice or a HISTORY BASED ON TRUE FACTS?.

If the answer is that we should look into the facts and we should live a world of “Truth” and all truthfulness, and if it is our aim not to remain in an illusionary world of choice, let us all go by the facts and let us forever be bold enough to tell the “Truth” and “Truth” alone to our next generation, beyond the influence of any land, any religion, or any prophet.
Learned people on this subject may further explain all of us (including me) if they know anything further on this subject. Now let us go how alphabets are found and who did this, in the next series. And, of course, we will surely focus on some points like who invented which country and so on.
Probably any small priest in any village of India may be in a position to challenge any scientist on this and they believe that they can express about the planets better than any one on this Holy Planet? Are we comfortable with this challenge?
